Our new High-Speed Processing Line, complete with a 7-Head Leadermac Speedmac with 50-foot sorting chain and inline trim, means that we have over 250 lf/min feed rate capability with a moulder for size and pattern work from 3/8” to 4” thickness and 1 ½ “ to 9” widths. Our two Yates C-99 moulders provide scheduling flexability and expand our width capability to 12".

With over 200 cutterheads in assorted cutting angles and knife configurations we are prepared to run most standard and many custom patterns. Skilled craftsmen can make knives to produce even the most complicated custom patterns.

We have the capability to break down cants and other routine resaw work, including saw texturing. We can sort for grade and length and sticker for air-drying. (Bandsaws are sharpened and benched in house allowing us to grind, swage and bench bands as needed to assure the highest quality resawing.)

Defect trimming is a separate operation. We run three air/electric chopsaw stations and carefully trim to your specifications in odd and even lengths from 6” to 20’. (We charge only for the materials that are actually trimmed.)

We load and unload flatbed trailers, maxis and curtain vans. Reload facilities are nearby for van, piggyback and rail car shipping. We work closely with local haulers and dry kilns. We’ll gladly arrange transport for your raw material from local mills and/or dry kilns as well as the transport of your finished goods to local reloads.

Often our customers do not see the wood they have purchased or the product we have produced for them. We are in constant communication with our customers to keep them informed regarding the quality of the inbound raw material and the results they may expect.

We frequently act as consultants advising on various approaches to maximizing recovery and retaining the highest value.

In an economy where just-in-time inventories are a given, our three moulders and two resaws combined with employees' experienced in all aspects of our manufacturing process provide excellent flexibility to achieve maximum value and prompt response times.
