Our equipment for custom lumber remanufacturing includes:

A High-Speed Processing Line featuring a 7-Head Leadermac Speedmac with a 50-foot sorting chain, inline trim and over 250 lf/min plus feed rate capability. The moulder is capable of dimension and pattern work from 3/8” to 4” thickness and 1 ½” to 9” widths.

This entire installation is housed in a 7500 sq. foot building complete with in-feed and out-feed systems to take advantage of the high-speed production capability of the moulder as well as to provide expanded sorting for our customers.

Two Yates C-99 5-Head Moulders:

Maximum capacity: 2” x12”, 4” x 6”, 3” x 8” (24 sq. in. end section)
Minimum capacity: 1” x 2”
Lengths: minimum 2 ft, maximum 52 ft.
Both equipped with ripping capability.

54” Bandsaw with air/electric set works, single band:

This line is able to break down cants as well as other routine resaw work. Saw texturing works great here. We can sort and sticker for air-drying and grading behind the saw across our 70’green sorting chain.

36” Single Band with Tiltable Feed System:

Bevel siding is one of the principle products manufactured on this machine. We can run assorted thickness and widths– both smooth and rough face.

Lengths: minimum 3’ maximum 20’

Knife and Saw Shop

We have over 200 cutterheads in a variety of cutting angles and knife configurations. Our pattern knives are ground on our two profile grinders. We have the capacity and expertise in house to make knives for special custom pattern requirements and we stock most conventional pattern knives.

All bands are sharpened, swaged and benched by experienced Cascadian employees in our filing shop.
